Profile
My academic path has been driven by an interest in Philosophy of Language, Logic, and Linguistics, which I first explored during my BA. I then moved toward NLP and Machine Learning during my MA to gain a more applied and technical perspective, before focusing my PhD on responsible and interpretable AI. My academic journey has developed, and continues to develop, at the University of Pisa.

Along the way, I have contributed to several research projects spanning these areas, from quantitative analyses of online toxicity using NLP techniques to the development of new interpretable models and generative approaches for interpretable-by-design model construction.

Summer school for PhD students and researchers focused on the analysis of informational, political, and social dynamics and their relationship with Artificial Intelligence, with particular attention to the responsible use of data for addressing complex societal challenges. Developed a group project on the evaluation of public-policy impacts through recommender systems in a simulated social-network environment.

AI & Society 2025 Summer School
