I'm Alessio Cascione
PhD Student in Explainable AI
I am a PhD Student in Artificial Intelligence at University of Pisa , within the National PhD Programme in Artificial Intelligence for Society . My research focuses on interpretable machine learning, particularly rule-based and case-based interpretability-by-design methods, as well as fairness and responsible AI.

I am part of the MIMOSA (Mining Interpretable Models Exploiting Sophisticated Algorithms) research project, where I contribute to developing new approaches for extracting interpretable, accurate, and ethically responsible predictive models for AI-based decision-support systems.
